FAQ

Things people keep asking.

What's a CIC?

A Community Interest Company: a UK legal form for businesses that exist to deliver community benefit rather than enrich shareholders. We're limited by guarantee with an asset lock, meaning profits and assets are legally ring-fenced for the mission and can't be extracted by a private owner. The CIC Regulator oversees compliance.

How is Everyone Plays CIC funded?

Three routes: session fees (covering venue & admin at the break-even level), voluntary pay-it-forward tips on bookings (100% reinvested into subsidised places), and donations / grants / partnerships (funding expansion and new programmes). We publish a Community Interest Report annually with the full picture.

Can I volunteer without running a whole site?

Absolutely. We'll always need help with stats, photography, kit runs, welcoming new players, and social media. Email hello@everyoneplays.uk and tell us what you're up for.

Do I need to be good at football to play?

No. If you're on the fence, that's exactly who we built this for. Come as you are.

How do I report a safeguarding concern?

Email safeguarding@everyoneplays.uk directly. Our Designated Safeguarding Lead will respond. For urgent child-protection concerns, contact the local authority or police first, then let us know.
