Who we are

Everyone Plays CIC is a Community Interest Company registered in England and Wales (Company No. 17281597). We deliver inclusive community sport programmes including Plymouth Kickabouts. When you register, make a donation, or purchase a community supporter subscription you are entering into a contract with Everyone Plays CIC.

Your account

You must register an account to participate in our programmes. You are responsible for keeping your login details secure. Participants aged 16 or 17 must provide a parent or guardian's contact details at registration. A consent request is automatically sent to that guardian and their confirmation is required before the participant can attend any session. The parent or guardian completes the final section of the registration form with their name, relationship, mobile number and email address. The confirmation email we send them includes a link they must follow before the participant can book; until then, booking is blocked. The guardian chooses their own consents for WhatsApp community invites, leaderboard and stats visibility, and video or photo use, and can change any of these or withdraw consent at any time by emailing safeguarding@everyoneplays.uk.

Programmes and booking

Session fees are charged at the time of booking via Stripe. Your place is only confirmed once payment has been processed and you have received a confirmation email. We reserve the right to cancel a session at short notice due to circumstances outside our control, including venue unavailability or adverse weather.

Cancellations and refunds

If you cancel more than 24 hours before a session, a credit equal to your session fee will be issued automatically to your wallet, valid for 90 days. Your cancellation confirmation email contains a link to request a cash refund to your original payment method instead. This link is valid for 7 days from the time of cancellation. If you do not use the link within 7 days the credit remains in your wallet and the cash refund option closes.

If you cancel within 24 hours of the session start time, no refund or credit is issued.

If we cancel a session, a credit equal to your session fee will be issued automatically to your wallet, valid for 12 months. If you would prefer a cash refund to your original payment method, email hello@everyoneplays.uk within 30 days of the cancellation. After 30 days the cash refund option closes and the credit stays in your wallet.

Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights.

Membership and supporter subscriptions

A Football Passport is a monthly membership paid by GoCardless direct debit. Each tier covers unlimited standard session bookings at the venues that tier includes, with no per-session fee. Special and premium sessions are charged separately on every option, at a lower price for Passport members. Current tiers, prices and venue coverage are shown on the Plymouth Kickabouts membership page, which is the authoritative list. A Passport has no prerequisite: it does not require any other membership. Community supporter subscriptions are also monthly via GoCardless.

You can cancel any recurring subscription, or change membership tier, at any time. There is no notice period. No further payments are taken and the subscription does not renew. No refund is issued for a period you have already paid for, and your benefits continue until that period ends, then stop. A tier change works the same way: your current tier stays active until the end of the period you have already paid for, then the new tier starts.

Prices may change in future. While your membership is live you keep the rate you joined at. That rate ends when you cancel: if you rejoin later it will be at the price current at that time, on a new direct debit.

Donations

One-off donations are non-refundable except where required by law. Recurring supporter donations can be cancelled at any time via your GoCardless account or by emailing hello@everyoneplays.uk. No further payments are taken and the subscription does not renew. No refund is issued for a period you have already paid for, and any supporter benefits, including named acknowledgement in our monthly roundup, continue until that period ends.

Credits and rewards

Credits have no cash value and cannot be exchanged for money. Credits expire as described in your wallet. We reserve the right to adjust the credit and rewards system at any time with reasonable notice to members.

Shin pads and footwear

Shin pads are mandatory for all players in sessions where the footwear policy is studded or moulded boots, and for all players under 18, regardless of surface, venue or footwear policy. In sessions where the footwear policy is trainers, shin pads are strongly recommended but not required for adult players.

We keep free communal shin pads on hand at every session for anyone who forgets or doesn't own a pair. New shin pads are also available to buy, in person at sessions and online (coming soon).

Footwear must match the surface: 3G and 4G pitches require studded or moulded boots (flat-soled trainers and astro boots are not permitted on either); 2G pitches require flat-soled or astro trainers; sports halls require flat-soled trainers. Metal studs are never permitted in any Everyone Plays CIC or Plymouth Kickabouts session, regardless of what an individual venue otherwise allows.

A player who does not comply with a mandatory shin-pad requirement will not be permitted to play that session. An adult player who chooses not to wear shin pads in a session where they are only recommended does so entirely at their own risk, and this may affect insurance coverage in the event of an injury.

By booking, you accept you have read and agree to this condition. No refund will be given for non-attendance caused by not following this rule.

Code of conduct

By participating in any Everyone Plays programme you agree to abide by our Code of Conduct. We reserve the right to remove any participant from a session and suspend or terminate their account for breach of the Code of Conduct. If you are removed for conduct, no refund or credit is given for the session where it happened or for any session you have already attended. If you are permanently removed, future sessions you have already paid for are cancelled and refunded to your original payment method, and so is any unused, unexpired credit that came from money you paid, such as credit from a booking you cancelled more than 24 hours before kickoff. Expired credit, and credit given free of charge such as referral, milestone, leaderboard or goodwill credit, has no cash value and is not refunded. If you are suspended, future sessions in the suspension period are cancelled and credited to your wallet.

Liability

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence. We hold public liability insurance covering all sessions. Subject to the above, our liability to you is limited to the amount you paid for the session or membership giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for loss of personal property, injury caused by another participant, or any indirect or consequential loss.

Your data

We process your personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy. You can exercise your data rights at any time by emailing privacy@everyoneplays.uk.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms at any time. We will notify members by email of any material changes at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use of the service after that date constitutes acceptance.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
